Transfer your 8mm movies to DVD. At 45 Degrees Latitude we can safely digitize your cherished 8mm movies so they will be preserved for future generations. Film deteriorates over time becoming yellow and brittle. We can help preserve these family memories by transferring the image to DVD so your movie will play in any DVD player or on your computer. Of course, you get your 8mm movie returned in pristine condition. We have recently purchased a film converter from California which plays the vintage film with a low temperature LED light. The image is projected through a prism and convex lens directly into a high quality 3 CCD digital camcorder. This way we can capture the best digital image possible from your films. Many other services can be applied to your films including adding titles, background music, transitions, and even authoring the disc (adding chapters) so you can navigate to a particular movie on the DVD using your DVD remote.
