Home> About Us 45 Degrees Latitude is owned and operated by Ken and Cathy Hook. Our studio is on beautiful Skootamatta Lake north of Kingston, Ontario. We can compliment your creative team to produce exciting new media. Ken specializes in video production, Cathy in still photography and graphics. University of Guelph biologists by training, we have a unique mix of leadership, marketing, exporting and production skills that will have a positive impact on your next video project. As business owners we understand the importance of producing high quality, professional marketing media to grow your business, train your staff and promote your vision. Our MissionHigh Quality. All our productions are high quality using state-of-the-art digital equipment including the Panasonic HVX 200 camera. We have made the transition to High Definition and can create broadcast quality productions. Customer Satisfaction. We are not satisfied with the production until the customer is satisfied. Our goal is to obtain repeat business and to obtain new business by referral. Honesty, Integrity, Competitive Pricing. We aim to provide good value for the money, stick to our budget and be up front with the customer with no surprises. Experience Municipal Government, Business Owners, Biologists, Exporters, Video Instructor Our video experience includes proficiency with some of the best hardware and software in the business. For video I use Final Cut Studio 2, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore DVD as well as Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash for the web. Cathy uses Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for photo and graphic work. Ken is also the chosen instructor for "Introduction to Digital Video" for Continuing Education at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario. See our recent projects as well as our demo video.
